Of the 209,090 citizens living in Washington County in 2021, 80.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 167,836 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 82,304 were male, constituting 49%, and 85,532 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Washington County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79.1%.
