Charleroi Area High School standout Ben Shields’ college team lost in NCAA Division III baseball game on Wednesday, March 12

On Wednesday, March 12, former Charleroi Area High School standout Ben Shields’ current college team, the Allegheny Gators, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wooster Fighting Scots.

The game took place at Robert M. Garbark ’32 Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Scots this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 12 p.m. at Towers Field against Rochester Yellowjackets.
