On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Burgettstown Area High School standout Eric Kovach’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.
The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Braves this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against UNC Pembroke Braves.
