On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Burgettstown Area High School standout Eric Kovach’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, lost 10-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.
The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their third matchup against the Braves this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at Frank Loria Memorial Field against Shepherd Rams.
