Rep. Bud Cook acknowledged the achievements of the Greene County commissioners in securing $350,000 from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). The funding will be used for offsite traffic improvements on State Route 21 in Franklin Township, Greene County.

The project aims to transform an unused vacant lot into a new two-tenant retail plaza. This development is strategically situated in Greene County’s business growth corridor, enhancing the area’s capacity for economic expansion.

“By fostering an environment conducive to attracting new industries, this project greatly adds to the county’s efforts to create jobs and enhance infrastructure,” stated Cook. He further expressed his satisfaction in supporting a project that will “improve residents’ quality of life.”

The CFA, an independent agency, manages the funding of programs and investments that aim to drive economic growth and infrastructure development in Pennsylvania.
