Rep. Tim O’Neal announced on Mar. 13 that he will host a Pizza and Policy event on Friday, March 20, at the Nottingham Municipal Building. The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and residents of the 48th Legislative District are invited to attend.

The gathering aims to give constituents an opportunity to discuss state government issues and current legislation with their representative. O’Neal said, “Pizza and Policy events are a great way to connect with residents of the 48th Legislative District. I invite everyone to come out and join the conversation. I look forward to hearing your ideas, answering your questions and listening to your concerns about state government and the legislation currently being considered in the General Assembly.”

Pizza and drinks will be provided at the event, which does not require an RSVP. The district includes parts of Washington County such as the city of Washington; Amwell, part of Carroll (Districts 3, 4 and 5), East Finley, Fallowfield, Morris, North Franklin, part of North Strabane (Districts 1-5), Nottingham, Somerset, South Franklin, South Strabane, West Finley townships; as well as Donora, East Washington and Green Hills boroughs.

O’Neal has maintained a district office at 190 N. Main St., Suite 308 in Washington, Pennsylvania, along with a Capitol office at 428 Main Capitol Building in Harrisburg according to his official website. He represents parts of Washington County as a Republican in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives according to his official website.

He has used private-sector experience to advocate for job creation, infrastructure improvements, energy diversity and independence, as well as government reform according to his official website. O’Neal also serves as Republican Whip in the Pennsylvania House according to his official website, having taken office following a special election in May 2018 according to his official website.

The event provides an opportunity for community members to engage directly with their elected representative about local concerns.
