On Sunday, March 2, former Peters Township High School standout Drew Ripepi’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 6:05 p.m. at Segra Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
