On Tuesday, March 4, former Peters Township High School standout Drew Ripepi’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, lost 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Segra Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4 p.m. at John Henry Moss Stadium against Youngstown State Penguins.
