Rep. Tim O’Neal announced he will host his annual Veterans Brunch on May 23. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the North Franklin Municipal Building in Washington. This free event is open to veterans, who may also bring a guest. RSVPs are required by May 9, either by calling O’Neal’s district office at 724-223-4541 or visiting in person.

“Every year, I hold this event between Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day to express my gratitude to those who have served in defense of our freedoms,” O’Neal stated. He added, “As a veteran myself, I understand the sacrifices involved. Whether you’ve joined us before or this will be your first time, I look forward to seeing you. I encourage all veterans in the 48th Legislative District to come and bring a guest.”

The 48th Legislative District encompasses several areas including the city of Washington, Amwell, parts of Carroll, East Finley, Fallowfield, Morris, North Franklin, parts of North Strabane, Nottingham, Somerset, South Franklin, South Strabane, and West Finley townships, as well as the boroughs of Donora, East Washington, and Green Hills.
