Cost of college went up for all students at Waynesburg University

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Waynesburg University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $24,820 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $810 more than the $24,010 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 399 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.2 million and 328 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,674), 1,306 students used grants or scholarships totaling $19.2 million, and 1,085 students took out $7.5 million in federal student loans.
