On Sunday, March 9, former Burgettstown Area High School standout Eric Kovach’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles.

The game took place at Frank Loria Memorial Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bald Eagles this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Fairfax Field against Shepherd Rams.
