88 percent of applicants to Western Area Career & Technology Center were admitted for fall 2018

At Western Area Career & Technology Center, 69 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 93 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Canonsburg enrolled 104 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).

The school admitted 88 percent of the 25 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 77 percent enrolled.
