Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Western Area Career & Technology Center

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Western Area Career & Technology Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $15,710 to attend the public school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 5 students received grants or scholarships totaling $31,753 and 7 students took out student loans totaling more than $71,670.

Including all undergraduates (104), 84 students used grants or scholarships totaling $340,758, and 104 students took out $625,379 in federal student loans.
