Cost of college went up for all students at Penn Commercial Business/Technical School

Tuition and fees rose 57.1 percent for 2018-19 at Penn Commercial Business/Technical School, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $19,129 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $871 less than the $20,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 56 students received grants or scholarships totaling $292,659 and 49 students took out student loans totaling more than $397,761.

Including all undergraduates (237), 162 students used grants or scholarships totaling $911,854, and 153 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
