The Franklin Township Board ofZoning Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Franklin Township Hall, 218Gougler Avenue, Kent, Ohio to consider conditional use applications. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on October11th, 2021.
At 7:00 p.m. an application by BrittanyReed, 1521 North Blvd. Kent, OH representing the property located at the sameaddress (parcel number 12-076-20-00-157-001) will be heard for a variance tosection 310.02 A.1.The code only allows for a single family dwelling in the R-1zoning district and the applicant wishes to rebuild their garage to add an in-lawsuite which would constitute a second residential dwelling. The property is ona double wide lot.
At 7:15 p.m. and application byFrank & Lori McMullen, 6341 Stoneridge Dr. Streetsboro, OH representing theproperty located at 2108 State Route 59 (parcel number 12-020-00-00-041-000)will be heard for a conditional use variance to section 323.02 A.1. Theapplicant wishes to open a Medical Marijuana dispensary which is not apermitted use in a C-1 / I-1 zoning district.
No hearing shall begin beforeits allotted time, but may begin after its allotted time.
