The Franklin Township Board of Trustees will conduct apublic hearing in the Franklin Township Hall, 218 Gougler Avenue, Kent, Ohio toconsider changes to the Franklin Township Zoning Resolution. The meeting will be held on January 11, 2021at 6:00 pm.
The Trustees will consider an application submitted by Back Nine Holdings LLC.,4821 Heights Dr. Stow Ohio 44224 along with recommendations from the ZoningCommission and the Portage County Regional Planning Commission on a proposed rezoning map amendment for 5.264acres on Powdermill Rd.
Parcel # 12-019-00-00-005-001 currently zonedR-1 to R-O.
Additionally,the Trustees will consider an application submitted by Heritage DevelopmentCompany, LLC. along with recommendations from the Zoning Commission and the PortageCounty Regional Planning Commission on a proposed rezoning map amendment for 41.88acres of land at the southeast corner of Powder Mill Road & SR 59 (north ofthe railroad tracks and west of Pebblebrook Apartments) currently owned by KentState University.
