Men's Club Rosary and Wine Tasting
The Men’s Club of St. John XXIII would like to invite the men and women of the parish to gather at 6:30 pm around the “I Am the Resurrection and the Life” statue alongside of the church on August 8 for the recitation of the rosary. If it is raining, we will move indoors, so don’t let bad weather deter you. Following the rosary, we will proceed to the Pope Benedict Center where we will have hot and cold hors d’oeuvres provided by Heisler’s along with a sampling of six different wines for you to taste.
This year we are featuring boxed wines. They are sometimes passed over due to their untraditional packaging, but you may be surprised to learn that many boxed wines have won awards at prestigious competitions. Come and enjoy a relaxing evening of prayer, refreshments, and fellowship. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP by email to mcginnis1020@verizon.net , or by calling Jack at 412-877-9697. Your timely response is very important. We want to make sure that there is enough wine for everyone (and other beverages for non-wine drinkers). Please reply by August 5. When you reply, indicate if you are coming alone or bringing a date or a friend.
