Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) has announced that he will be hosting his annual Veterans Brunch on Friday, May 24 at the Carroll Township Social Hall in Monongahela. The keynote speaker for the event will be Retired Maj. William Roland, the junior vice commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
In a statement, O’Neal expressed his gratitude towards veterans, saying, “Each year, I host this event between Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day to thank those who have served to protect our freedoms. As a veteran, I know the sacrifices they have made. Even if you have attended the event in the past, you are welcome to come again. I encourage all veterans in the 48th Legislative District to attend and bring a guest.”
The event is open to all veterans in the 48th Legislative District of Washington County, and each veteran is allowed to bring a guest. RSVPs are required by May 10 and can be made by calling O’Neal’s district office at 724-223-4541 or visiting RepONeal.com/events.
