Harrisburg, May 3, 2024 - Supporters of Pennsylvania's agriculture industry are gearing up for the Second Annual Blessing of the Balers and "May is Beef Month" celebration set to take place at the state Capitol. The event, organized by state Rep. Bud Cook and the Pennsylvania Beef Council in collaboration with key industry associations, promises to be a significant gathering for agriculture enthusiasts.

State Rep. Bud Cook, alongside notable figures such as Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding, Pennsylvania Beef Council Board Chairman Duff George, and Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Chris Hoffman, will be present at the event. Additionally, the Rev. Donald Wilson of Greene County, farmers, agriculture producers, lawmakers, and other stakeholders will join the celebration.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m., will be held on Commonwealth Avenue behind the state Capitol building in Harrisburg. Two tractors and balers will be showcased on-site, adding a touch of authenticity to the agricultural celebration.
