Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) announced today that his office will host an identity theft seminar on Thursday, May 30. The event is scheduled to take place at the Church of the Covenant, located at 267 E. Beau St., Washington, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“In this technological world, identity theft is a common problem,” O’Neal stated. “There are a number of tips people can follow to try to prevent becoming a victim. I encourage attending this event to learn some of these helpful preventive techniques.”
The seminar will be led by state police Tpr. Rocco Gagliardi and will focus on strategies for protecting oneself from identity theft and scams.
