Dave Barbe, owner of Fourth Street Foods in Charleroi, hasn’t just replaced his American workforce with one recruited, with taxpayer subsidy, from counties like Haiti.
Barbe is also earning profits by collecting rent payments from these migrant imports, who along with close to a million others, have been granted “temporary protected status by the Biden-Kamala Harris administration.
An analysis found that some 2,000 illegal aliens from 44 countries – including Haiti, Liberia, and China— have been moved into 4,000-population Charleroi since 2020.
Last month, Barbe told KDKA that has 700 migrants working at Fourth Street Foods, which packages prepared food items for retailers.
Washington County real estate records show Barbe has purchased 36 homes in Charleroi for a total $1.569M since Nov. 2020.
