State Rep. Cook, Bud | Pennsylvania 50th Legislative District
Rep. Bud Cook, representing Greene and Washington counties, will host a town meeting for the Central Greene School District communities on September 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Waynesburg Central High School auditorium.
Cook has invited residents, business owners, borough and township officials, county commissioners, and anyone interested in community support to attend. He emphasized the importance of communication in his role as a representative. “Open lines of communication are vital to my work to represent the people of Greene County and the 50th District,” Cook stated. “Let’s work together to make our community the best it can be so people will Come Home, Go Big and Have a Ball.”
Following legislative redistricting last year, Cook is new to representing Greene County. He has been organizing town meetings based on local school districts with the aim of forming a "Greene Team" to highlight regional offerings.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP online at RepBudCook.com or by calling 724-969-2660. The meeting venue is located at 30 Zimmerman Drive in Waynesburg.
The Central Greene School District encompasses Franklin, Perry, Washington, Wayne and Whiteley townships, along with Waynesburg Borough.
