Greene County Elections Office along with the Greene County Election Board are urging voters to utilize the online applications at www.votespa.com to vote via Mail in or Absentee. You can also use this website to change your voter registration or register to vote. As always, our office will mail the proper forms to your residence if you are unable to access the website. Please contact our office at (724) 852-5230 for any further information. We will be glad to assist.Your vote is your voice as an American citizen. It’s your opportunity to be heard, to hold elected officials accountable for their decisions and to have a say in important issues that affect your community. On Election Day, every vote matters.
The Office of Registration and Elections is accountable for the effective conduct of all elections and voter registration throughout Greene County. The staff must maintain and exercise a broad spectrum of duties in assuring a smooth election process. Responsibilities include the processing and updating of registration records, finding polling places, instructing district boards for each election, preparing ballots, programming and maintenance of election machines and preparation of absentee ballots.

General Primary Election - April 28
Registration Deadline: Last day to register, change party, address and/or name: April 13, 2020.
The Greene County Elections Office is seeking poll workers for the April 28 General Primary Election.
Workers needed are:
• Minority Inspector – Republican;
• Majority Inspector – Democratic; and
• Clerk – Any Party.

Absentee Information
ABSENTEE DEADLINES:
- Last day to apply for an Absentee Ballot — April 21, 2020
- Last day to return Voted Absentee Ballots — April 28, 2020 by 8:00 p.m.

WHERE DO I VOTE?
Where you will vote (your polling place) is determined by your residential address.
* Your voting location is provided for you on the right side of your voter ID card.
* You can call our office at 724-852-5230.
Greene County has developed a map and a web app to help you find your polling place.
On the map, you can click within a precinct or on a polling place to get additional information and the address of each polling place.
On the Voting Locations App, you can see a picture of the polling place as well as the map. Each picture is oriented to show the entrance.

Each voting precinct has its own District Board that operates on Election Day. Duties pertaining to the Board of Elections include:
- Distributes and receives nomination petitions
- Prepares ballot copy for the printer
- Retains polling places
- Retains/pays local election board members
- Programs and distributes voting machines to voting districts throughout Greene County
- Distributes and receives campaign expense statements/reports
- Certifies election results
- Distributes employee's determination forms for filing statements of financial interests
- Distributes and receives statements of financial interest for candidates and public officials/public employees
