Several members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly are calling on Gov. Josh Shapiro to take action to safeguard local health care access for residents of Washington and Greene counties. The call to action is being led by Reps. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington), Josh Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), and Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington), along with other community leaders and stakeholders.

The speakers include Electra Janis, Washington County commissioner; JoJo Burgess, mayor of the city of Washington; Neal Lesher, director of government affairs for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry; Saundra Lemley, employee of Washington Health System Greene; and Mark Shepler, financial secretary for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66.
