Benham and Cook to address PBM reform impacts on local pharmacies

State Rep. Cook, Bud | Pennsylvania 50th Legislative District

State Representatives Jessica Benham (D-Allegheny) and Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) will hold a news conference to discuss the impact of Act 77 of 2024 on local pharmacies and patients. The legislation, signed into law by Governor Josh Shapiro last week, aims to reform pharmacy benefit management (PBM).

The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, at noon at Curtis Pharmacy located at 555 PA Route 88 in Carmichaels. Local pharmacists are expected to participate in the discussion.
