Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) announced he will host a concealed carry seminar on Thursday, Aug. 29.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Prosperity Social Hall, located at 4578 ½ Prosperity Pike, Prosperity. Attendees are asked to RSVP via his website or by calling his district office at 724-223-4541.
“This event will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more about their Second Amendment rights and the Castle Doctrine,” O’Neal said. “Representatives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Pennsylvania Firearms Owners Against Crime will lead the presentation.”
The 48th Legislative District in Washington County covers the city of Washington; Amwell, part of Carroll (Districts 3, 4 and 5), East Finley, Fallowfield, Morris, North Franklin, part of North Strabane (Districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), Nottingham, Somerset, South Franklin, South Strabane and West Finley townships; and the boroughs of Donora, East Washington and Green Hills.
